However, our smart Skandika Dale dome tents have much more to offer! They are super well thought-out and perfectly equipped for the best protection against wind and rain as well as strong sunlight. The compact tent offers plenty of space for up to 3 people in the sleeping cabin and additional storage space in the weatherproof vestibule. Two entrances give more flexibility, with the rear entrance allowing direct access to the sleeping cabin without having to go through the vestibule first. In this version of our Dale tent with Skandika Sleeper technology, the cabin is black and a special coating has been applied to the flysheet which absorbs almost 100% of the sunlight. Want to sleep in longer or take a nap at lunchtime? Everything is possible in the completely dark sleeping cabin thanks to our Skandika Sleeper technology in the Dale 3 Sleeper! If complete darkness is not required, the cabin can also be closed with just a mosquito net for more flexibility, so that fresh air can circulate and it is not quite so dark. The vestibule of the new Dale has been particularly well designed, because it is more flexible and comfortable than ever before! A weatherproof groundsheet is sewn to the cabin and is attached to the sides of the flysheet with toggles and loops - no more slipping! The floor is tub-shaped with high sides and helps enormously to keep moisture and creepy-crawlies out of the tent - luggage and shoes remain well protected and dry. Particularly clever: the side of the floor can be folded down near the entrance door to make it easier to get in. The front door is another highlight. It can be opened completely and rolled upwards. If desired, an inner door made of mosquito net can be closed at the same time, allowing air in but keeping insects out. If the weather turns bad, the door can be closed completely weatherproof. It consists of a large foil window to let in plenty of daylight even on grey days, but can be darkened to make it opaque if required. So, whatever the weather and no matter how much light and visibility you need - the front door of the Dale can do it all! To the side of the entrance door are triangular windows made of mosquito net, which can also be darkened and closed with weatherproof zips. The Dale 3 Sleeper scores points for high temperatures and intense sunlight with a UV protection factor of 50+. This special treatment of the fabric prevents the flysheet from becoming brittle or cracked and contributes significantly to the longevity of the tent. Another major advantage: the tent does not heat up so quickly in the sun and a pleasant inner tent climate is favoured. A variety of clever extras make the igloo tent extremely practical and increase comfort. Colour-coded poles make pitching easier and the wind-permeable pole channels made of elastic fabric ensure increased tear resistance. In the cabin there is a hook for a lamp and organiser pockets for mobile phones and the like, and a cable feed-through provides the necessary power supply from outside. The dome tent is supplied in a robust carry bag for dust-free storage and easy transport.
